Faculty of Liberal Arts, Shinawatra University, Enhances Public Spaces in Alignment with SDGs

The Faculty of Liberal Arts, Department of Environmental Design, at Shinawatra University has undertaken a project to redesign public walkways and park areas within the university. This initiative aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to promote quality of life, sustainability, and environmental friendliness.
The design emphasizes SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities by creating accessible, safe, and environmentally friendly spaces. It also supports SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being through the provision of green areas that encourage relaxation and overall well-being. Additionally, the project aligns with SDG 13: Climate Action, integrating natural elements into the design to minimize environmental impact.
This development contributes to the university’s performance in the QS Stars Rating under the Sustainability category, showcasing Shinawatra University’s commitment to fostering sustainable environments and addressing societal needs on an international scale.
